Come join us for a relaxed, friendly and supported cinema trip, complete with an interval and a cuppa. These experiences have been designed for those living with dementia and their carers, but all are welcome. We’re proud to have welcomed lots of different people to our Sing-A-Long Cinemas, including care homes for people with additional needs and older people, plus those that enjoy a more relaxed cinema experience.

Some information of what to expect to help you plan your visit:

• A dedicated member of staff to welcome our Sing-a-Long Dementia Friendly audience members, and help you to get settled in our cinema space, called the Second Space.

• A friendly interval, perfect for a toilet break and a cuppa.

• Reduced lighting that will allow you to move around the space if needed, and we hope won’t be too dark for those who are more comfortable not being in a dark space.

• It’s a relaxed space, so audience members are welcome to make noise, sing-a-long, move if needed, and we’re on hand to help.

• A friendly welcome, and a recap after the interval to help us all remember what happened in the first half!
