You're probably sick of people saying it by now, but 2020 has been tough. For us as theatre, for our industry, for our audiences. It has been a LONG year.
BUT we've made it. It's December; the end is in sight, we're 95% hot chocolate and we've watched so many of the Christmas films on Netflix, that we're having to resort to those 'Christmas film recorded in Summer' films they show on Channel 5. You know the ones.
Normally we'd be up to our eyeballs in panto, but this year is different. This year we're a lot quieter (although we're still making a bit of noise with our children's workshops), and because of that we need your help.
Anything you can do to support Cast this Christmas is MASSIVELY appreciated, so we thought we'd make a little list to help you find a way that best fits you. ALSO because we're feeling festive, it's in the tune of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' (ish). Because, well, why not?

Whether it's following us across social media, messaging us, commmenting on our posts, sharing them with your friends, signing up to our mailing list, we LOVE keeping in touch with you online, especially as that's the only way we really spoken to many of you this year. Six (make a donation!)
Any donations, big or small, go towards all the work our incredible team does to making Cast more accessible and inclusive. From subsidised tickets, to organised trips, to supporting young people across Doncaster, any money you donate goes towards our charitable work. You can donate here.

Four (become a Member)
You can become part of the Cast story by donating as a member. Cast is a charity and relies on funding from multiple sources including through membership. Becoming a member is a great way to be closer to our work, whilst supporting the theatre throughout the year. Also, you can join from as little as £2.50 a month! And please book tickets for shows in 2021 It goes without saying that we can't wait to be back, hosting shows and making memories with you. We're busy programming our 2021 season and we'll be going on sale soon (some stuff is already on sale!) We know that returning to the theatre might feel a bit scary, so we've put together a handy guide highlighting all of the ways we're keeping Cast safe. If you're worried about shows getting cancelled, we've made the refund and credit process dead easy.
