Covid Guidelines

It goes without saying that we can't wait to welcome you back to Cast. Your safety and wellbeing is vital to us, and to help you feel safe, secure and comfortable at all times, we’ve introduced a wide range of new measures across our venue.

To apply from 19 July onwards, unless new Government Guidelines are released.

All the information you need to know about returning back to Cast is below, from changes we've made to booking tickets to what to expect when you arrive. Got a question that we haven't covered? Drop us an email on or call 01302 303 959.


Our Guidance

  • Enhanced cleaning across the entire building, but particularly busy areas
  • Hand-sanitiser stations throughout
  • Wearing of face coverings is strongly encouraged, especially while moving around inside the venue - please support us by keeping our staff, and fellow audience members safe
  • Cast staff will continue to wear masks, and socially distance from one another
  • We have created modified routes around the building to avoid overcrowding, and we ask that customers try to maintain social distancing whilst queueing.

Socially distanced performances

Performances after 19th July date will be at full capacity unless specifically stated on the event booking page.

We are offering socially distanced performances of our Panto, Aladdin, on Sat 27 Nov at 7pm & Sun 12 Dec at 6pm. For more info click here


What if I'm ill?

Please don't come to an event at Cast if you're showing symptoms of COVID-19. Let us know as soon as you can that you cannot attend an event and we’d be happy to move you to another performance, or credit your account. We know that things are a little uncertain right now, so we're offering refunds on all tickets purchased if you cannot attend due to Covid-19.


What about drinks?

The bar will be open for you to order a drink once you've already arrived at Cast. At certain performances you can preorder your interval drinks when you book your tickets. We will also be using The FillMeApp. This is a free app you can download onto your phone by searching FillMeApp in your app store.

Will I still have a ticket?

We are now doing e-tickets, which you will receive from us by email. Please either print this ticket off at home or make sure you have it open on your mobile/device when you arrive at Cast. 


Is there an interval?

Some events at Cast will have an interval, some won't. When you arrive, you'll also see that we've got chalk boards with start, finish, and interval times on. 


Are your toilets open?

Yes, all of our toilets, including disabled and our Changing Places toilet are open as usual.


What happens if an event is cancelled?

We're sure you can appreciate that at the minute, some things are just out of our hands, and that means that we may need to cancel an event at short notice. If this is the case, we will let you know as soon as we can by email (so please make sure your details are up to date here) or by giving you a call. We will credit your Cast booking account with the money for you to use next time you book with us.
