The Lucky Ones is like having your very own Truman show, where you are the star of the unfolding narrative, where your choices directly impact the story and where you are the main character.
Play as a team (up to 4) or go it alone in this interactive, immersive experience. Your choices will directly impact where the story goes.
Forget zoom theatre, forget watching pre-recorded experiences.
The Lucky Ones is unlike anything you have seen before.
Part theatre - Part video game - part escape room.
BOOKING CLOSES 14 APRIL.
"The Lucky Ones is genuinely suprising . . . I sent someone to their death for a wheat stick covered in marmite." - Lyn Gardner, Stagedoor
“Blurs the line between fact and fiction…Telling a story of data sabotage through our own tech devices is a neat idea.” — Mark Fisher, Guardian
“An awesome lockdown experience! ” — Enter Stage Write
DATE: The experience is a week long. The first contact will be made on Day One. From there you will get parts of the narrative fed to you across the next week.
TIME: You can work out a time which suits you best. There are no strict time commitments. It is designed to work alongside whatever you have on.
The experience is set up for both. It depends on what type of experience you want.
Although we recommend going it alone if you are brave enough! There are different journeys to be had (based on your decisions), so you could always buy individual tickets and discuss your different strategies as a group.
Yes, you will need to be able to communicate with each other. We have found zoom if a good vehicle for this with its ‘share screen’ function.
There is no set way to play this, or deadline to play certain bits by. You could play a bit every day (this is the recommended way) and this would take anywhere from 10-30 minutes depending on the day, although our advice is that it is best played over the course of the week as new things get revealed live.
Nothing really, you can catch up on what you missed the day before and play through two days in one!
No, this experience is with lockdown in mind. It is 100% distanced and comes to you via your laptop, phone and through your letterbox.
Yes, this a brand new version of The Lucky Ones. It will feel familiar if you have done previous versions (there may even be some Easter Eggs for you to find), but it is fundamentally a new experience. This version of The Lucky Ones has been specifically adapted for Cast and South Yorkshire audiences.
At this point in time, we can only accommodate audiences with UK postal addresses.
A way to experience this in the time being is to be in a team with someone who can receive the post and work together remotely.
We will ask you for your name, UK phone number, email and postal address. We will need these to send you different elements of the show.
