Odd Doll produce devised work combining puppetry, dance-based choreography, live music and clowning
Odd Doll Theatre of Puppetry are Kathleen Yore and Rebekah Caputo.
Kathleen (Artistic Director) is a maker, performer, puppeteer and workshop Facilitator. Graduating with a 1st degree in Acting from Bretton Hall, specialising in physical theatre, her first production won a ‘Total Theatre Award’ at Edinburgh Fringe 2006. She then went on to study and work with The London School of Puppetry, Theater Figuren Tubingen, Invisible Thread, The Puppet Broadcasting Company and Pickled Image. Kathleen regularly writes music, sings and performs interactive stories for children with ‘Alive and Kicking’ as well as working as a giggle doctor for Theodora Children’s Charity in UK Hospitals.
Rebekah (Education Co-ordinator) is a puppeteer, maker and shadow artist based between Leeds and Aarhus. Regularly collaborating with interdisciplinary artists and is currently working with Theatre Refleksion, Denmark. She has a Masters in Creative Practice (Distinction) and has been appointed associate lecturer in puppetry at Leeds College of Art. She regularly delivers education projects with various organisations, including Phoenix Dance, Northern Ballet and Opera North.

What are Odd Doll up to at the moment?
Odd Doll will be premiering their new children's theatre show, Whisker's First Winter, at Cast in December 2019, before taking it on a UK tour.
