Local businesses leaders have come together to launch The Doncaster Story. A borough-wide campaign, championing Doncaster as a place to do business, visit, study and enjoy with world-class culture.
Now is an exciting time to be for Doncaster with a growing cultural and visitor offer with better than ever connectivity, regeneration of the town centre and a new European Tour golf course.
Last week, the team at Cast attended a reception at Doncaster’s iconic racecourse to launch this ambitious new campaign. Hosted by Editor of the Doncaster Free Press Phil Bramley the event featured presentations from many high profile speakers including Cheryl Williams, CEO of Yorkshire Wildlife Park; John Till from Thinking Place, the organisation enlisted to help Doncaster grow; and local entrepreneur Oliver Bryssau from Origin Broadband.
The Place Board who will head up the campaign, is made up of leaders from Doncaster Free Press, Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Doncaster Airport, Doncaster Chamber, Club Doncaster and the Frenchgate.
Following an extensive period of research The Place Board have identifies three main themes to promote Doncaster: Connectivity, Leisure and Skills.
Cast is thrilled to be part of The Doncaster Story and we look forward to working with parters across the borough to support this exciting mission.
