Doncaster Creates are to host a free film screening and talk by a Talent Executive for the BFI Network (British Film Institute).
Film show of shorts and overview of BFI work in the north by Amy O'hara forms one of the debates, workshops, socials and screenings for, and by local makers hosted by Doncaster Creates. The idea is to stimulate opportunity and debate on creative production for people in Doncaster and to encourage people at what-ever stage of their desires, development, career in media production, film making, vlogging, cinematography etc. We hope to encourage people from diverse backgrounds.

If you have a short film or feature film you’d like to discuss or just want to find out more about what the BFI NETWORK does, then there’s an opportunity for you to book a free 30-minute 1-2-1 surgery with Amy O’Hara from the BFI NETWORK.
Amy is particularly keen to hear from underrepresented voices working in the creative industries who are interested in film. You don’t need to have any prior film experience to book a surgery.
The only requirements you need to be eligible are:
● Based in the North of England
● Haven’t had a feature film produced and distributed (unless you’re a producer)
● A creative track record. This could be student work, or something created at a grassroots/non-professional level, and it may be in film, television, theatre or another artform
● You need to be over 18 and not in full-time education
If you need to cancel your surgery for whatever reason, please email@example.com
There will be other opportunities across your region to book a surgery in the future either with Amy or Roxy McKenna, the other Northern BFI NETWORK Talent Executive.
