Tectonic will be the centre piece of DN Light Night, an evening event illuminating the grounds of Doncaster Minster.
The overall event is free and open to attend but you will need to book a specific time slot to enter the Minster and see Tectonic. Tickets booked will need to be shown either on your mobile phone or a printed version on entrance to the Minster. Only tickets for the specific timeslot will be accepted. Information about Tectonic
Last year thousands followed in Neil Armstrong’s footsteps, flocking to find the Moon crash-landed in the crossing of Doncaster Minster. This year the DN Festival of Light is returning and promises to be an even bigger spectacle than last year’s lunar illumination.
Right Up Our Street is working with artist Ed Carter and creative studio NOVAK to transform the entire interior of Doncaster Minster into an immersive world of light and colour, completely bespoke to the building. Not only will this piece of art only be seen at this festival, it has been envisaged and designed with Doncaster playing muse.
We have also worked in association with Doncaster Deaf Trust to assure the artwork is accessible for all.
Information about Light Night
The festival will be sparked off in style with DN Light Night - an evening extravaganza. Exterior light installations and interactive artworks will illuminate the grounds of the Minster in what is sure to be a night not soon forgotten.
Light Night will run between 5pm and 9pm. The event will be completely free and open to all. You will only need a ticket to reserve your timed entry into the Minster to see Tectonic.
Tickets are free but limited. Click here for more info and to book.
