Fancy winning a family ticket to see Aladdin, Cast's Christmas pantomime?

All you have to do is send us a poem all about Aladdin or pantomimes. All poems must be no longer than 1 side of A4 and entrants must be between the ages of 5-11. It could rhyme (but it doesn't have to!) it could be a riddle, it could be anything you want it to be! It could be a swirly whirly poem in the shape of smoke coming out of a lamp...or it could be colourful and glamorous!

It can be about your favourite character in Aladdin, or any of the pantos you've seen at Cast, or about your experience of coming to see a pantomime!

Writing should be fun and exciting and we want to leave it up to you to decide what your poem will be!

Everyone who enters will receive a certificate and their poem will be collected in a poetry book to be displayed in Cast's foyer.

The winner will receive 4 tickets to any performance of Aladdin, AND the winning poem will be published in Aladdin's show programme.

Here's a short example to get your ideas flowing!

A diamond in the rough with a lamp in my hand,

the genie inside with three wishes to grant.

My story twists and turns, sure enough,

and tells my tale - of the diamond in the rough.

Deadline to enter is Friday 26 June 2020
